murmur has become a gem in the stone path of electronic music labels, a consistent voice of quality through their series of vinyl and global events. 'No Fit State' is a vinyl sampler for the label, bringing together some gifted artists and insightful music to celebrate the label's journey.

Claire Ripley opens the package with a Solomun remix of 'Slow Loris', released earlier this summer on 'Timorous' EP. Best known for releases on Steve Bug's Dessous Recordings, Claire is an undeniable talent with flair for getting the feet moving. Solomun pulls the trigger with his remix in a capricious whirlwind track setting the skies alight with energy.

Label head Geddes pairs up for another collaboration with the skilled young Australian, Mic Newman, after big releases on the Tsuba label as well as murmur. 'Rework' is available on digital only release, a rattling snake of a record alive with chords and softly spoken calls. A remix from Chopstick & Tilley will be etched into the vinyl version, an engaging record that continually builds an atmosphere full of mystique.

The diamond of the package comes from murmur talent, Tom Demac, whose productions continue to shine with charisma. 'Slip Slop Slap' makes an indelible mark on the listener with its retro early 90s vocal and climbing bassline. This is a heart-stopping record that will keep you dancing all night long.
